Thai Massage

Traditional Thai Massage: An ancient healing art form that has been practiced for over 2500 years. Thai massage is practiced in a meditative state in which both the client and practitioner benefit from the work. Thai massage utilizes a wide range of techniques which include gentle rocking, stretching, joint mobilization and opening, energy work, acupressure, soft tissue manipulation, and breath just to name a few of the benefits. Work is done on the floor on a mat or pad, where the practitioner takes the client thru a series of gentle rocking movements and stretches using thumbs, fingers, palms, forearms, elbows, knees and feet. Muscles and internal organs are toned, vitality is increased, energy is balanced and a sense of deep peace and calmness is achieved. Often referred to as “Lazy Man’s Yoga” or “Yoga for Two”, Thai Massage is just as enjoyable to give as it is to receive.
