Hot Stone Massage
Did you realize that we have the same minerals in us as there is in the
stones on Mother Earth? The indigenous peoples honored all what was at
their disposal and I can imagine how they use hot stones in the beginning.
Meet me in a field when the sun is high but the air was cool. Man / woman was looking for shelter for the night and found a stone cave that had been warmed by the sun. Upon resting next to the stones, they found that they could be comfortable throughout the night. A new learning experience was found that could be passed on to the tribe.
Experiencing the Hot Stone Massage class could feel like that as you are
almost cocooned with warm stones on the sheet that covers you. We not only
talk about the types of stones to use, how to warm them, how to handle them
and how to use them as tools during the massage, but how to "connect with
the stones" that you use. In this two day class, you receive and give a
total of 2 complete hot stone massages. Ahhhhhhhh.
