This class will help you learn the basic skills for starting up and maintaining a successful massage practice. Ethics and legal issues will be discussed.

In this class you will be learning about good marketing skills, vision statements and goal setting. We are going to give you ways to set up your office so it will run efficiently and smoothly. We are also going to figure out what your specialty massage is, where you want to do your massage at and how much you want to earn. We will be talking about getting started, resumes and interviews. We will also look at who is your target client, how to reach them and how to keep them. And yes, even the yucky stuff like taxes, insurance, licensing and certification. And let’s not forget about our future, we need to know about banking and retirement.

A copy of the book: “Business Mastery: A Guide for Creating a Fulfilling, Thriving Business and Keeping It Successful” (Paperback) by Cherie M Sohnen-Moe (Author) will be made available to every student in class. If you wish to take the book home you can purchase it from the school.
